Astralis defeated Lynn Vision with little difficulty in the quarterfinals of the FISSURE Playground #1 tournament. The match ended with a 2:0 map score. On Nuke, chosen by Astralis , they dominated and confidently closed the map at 13:2. Dust2, Lynn Vision 's pick, was much more intense, as Astralis had to make a comeback, but they managed to do so and took the game to overtime, where they won 16:13.
The best player of the match was Jakob " Jabbi " Nygaard, finishing the match with 31 kills and 23 deaths.
The defeat was fatal for Lynn Vision — the team finishes the tournament in 5th–8th place, earning $17,500 in prize money and an additional $32,500 for the club's budget. Astralis continues their fight for the trophy and advances to the semifinals.
FISSURE Playground 1 will take place from July 15 to 20 in Belgrade, Serbia, with a prize pool of $450,000.
