3DMAX and Astralis Advance to FISSURE Playground #1 Playoffs

On July 17, the decisive matches of groups B and C concluded at the FISSURE Playground #1 tournament. The victors were 3DMAX and Astralis — both teams advanced to the playoffs, where they will continue to compete for the title.

3DMAX Eliminated pain
3DMAX managed to defeat pain in the elimination match of group B. The first map — Ancient — was controlled by 3DMAX and ended with a score of 13-8. On Nuke, pain put up a fight, pushing the game to overtime, but faltered at crucial moments — 17-19.

The best player of the match was Bryan “Maka” Canda, who secured 50 kills and had an average damage per round of 83.7.

pain finishes the tournament in 9th–12th place, earning $10,000 in prize money for the players and $5,000 for the organization. 3DMAX advances to the playoffs, where they will compete for a semifinal slot.

Astralis Confidently Defeated MIBR
Astralis had no significant issues defeating MIBR in the decisive match of group C. Mirage concluded with a score of 13-6, and on Nuke, the Danish team secured the series victory — 13-11.

In the Astralis lineup, Victor “Staehr” Staehr stood out with 39 kills and an adr of 92.0. 

For MIBR , their tournament run ends here — the team exits the championship in 9th–12th place with prize money of $10,000 for the players and $5,000 for the organization. Astralis will continue their participation in the playoffs.

FISSURE Playground 1 will be held from July 15 to 20 in Belgrade, Serbia, with a prize pool of $450,000.
