On April 30, the international CS2 tournament MESA Nomadic Masters: Spring 2025.
The event, held offline at the MESA studio, brought together eight teams from different regions, including the winners of Asian, European, and Mongolian qualifiers. A prize pool of $250,000 is at stake, of which $135,000 will go to the champion. The competition will last until May 4, and the format includes a group stage in the GSL system, after which the top four teams will qualify for the playoffs.
In the first round, 4 matches at once gave the audience an uncompromising fight, dramatic comebacks and individual skills on the verge.
JiJieHao 2:0 SAW
The Chinese team JiJieHao left no chance for the Portuguese team SAW , winning 2-0 (13:10 on Train, 13:6 on Dust2). Especially impressive were M1N1 and boros , who became the driving force on both maps. The MVP of the match was M1N1 (rating 7.2), who finished the match with 38 frags and 96 ADR. Despite a decent performance from Ag1l in SAW , the Portuguese lost all the key rounds, especially on Dust2, where they did not take a single round for attacking.

EVP: Ag1l (6.8)
This victory puts JiJieHao in a favorable position heading into the second round, where they will play a playoff match.
Heroic 2:0 Chinggis Warriors
In the match between Heroic and Chinggis Warriors, the level of the teams was felt from the first minutes. The European grandmaster left no chance for the tournament newcomers, closing the series 2-0 (13:5 on Dust2, 13:8 on Nuke). LNZ was the undisputed hero of the match - 23 frags, 7.9 rating, 109 ADR and absolute dominance on both maps. He was supported by Yxngstxr and SunPayus , who also played steadily.
Chinggis Warriors didn't have a single player who could put up a fight. Only controlez looked a little more convincing, but in general, the team looked confused. Heroic confidently advance to the knockout match.

EVP: controlzez (6.4)
B8 2:1 The Huns
The most intense game took place between B8 and The Huns - 2:1 (13:10 Inferno, 9:13 Mirage, 13:6 Dust2). After a confident starting map from the Ukrainian team, the Mongols took revenge on Mirage thanks to the excellent play of yAmi (24 frags, rating 8.3), who destroyed opponents in all areas of the map. However, at the decisive Dust2, B8 came out with maximum concentration. They outplayed The Huns in all aspects, allowing them to take only six rounds. BIG 2:1 Eruption
A very tense game took place between BIG and Eruption - 2:1 (16:13 Ancient, 9:13 Dust2, 13:11 Mirage).
