FiReLEAGUE 2025 made history as the first Counter-Strike tournament held in a subway—at a Buenos Aires underground station. This decision by the organizers drew significant interest from the public and media, with the unique location symbolizing a closer connection to the audience and an innovative approach to hosting esports events.

Police Assistance
There was also an unusual incident. According to dust2.com.br, a local thief stole a phone from an American tourist and attempted to escape into the subway. It was there, right at the tournament venue, that the police, along with FiReLEAGUE security, swiftly apprehended and arrested the perpetrator. The man is now in police custody.
