exit on returning to IGL role in MIBR : "I think when I stopped being the IGL, I was missing it and now I'm back"

Time: 2025-05-10 11:05 (UTC)

After returning to the role of captain for MIBR , Rafael "exit" Lacerda once again feels confident in himself and his team. In an interview before the start of PGL Astana 2025, he discussed his leadership, the team's potential, staff changes, and training in Europe.

After drop left the roster, the captaincy returned to exit. The player himself says he missed this responsibility and is glad to lead the team again.

When I stopped being the captain, I missed it. I hardly called anything, just played my positions. Now I'm back where I belong and feel great

Despite returning to the captaincy, exit acknowledges that he learned a lot from drop, which made him a stronger leader.

I learned a lot from drop — he had great ideas, and he led the team well. I incorporated some of that into my game

There are many questions surrounding MIBR — the team has yet to consistently show high results. But exit is confident: the roster has great potential, especially thanks to the players' talent.

For me, brnzan is the best Brazilian player right now. We have the best talents in the country. We just need to figure out how to make it work

To finally break into the playoffs, MIBR focused on training. And according to the captain, the preparation went at a good pace.

We trained for 10 days in Portugal . We only missed one day due to a blackout. But even on that day, we talked and discussed the game. It was useful

The updated coaching staff, led by jnt , is helping the team find new dynamics. Even though he hasn't been in the role for long, his ideas bring fresh energy.

jnt hasn't been in the coaching role for long, but he has brought new blood and fresh ideas. I think we have good support from the staff

Before the tournament starts, MIBR has set a clear goal — at least to reach the playoffs. exit believes this is a very achievable target.

We told each other: in Astana, we need to prove ourselves and at least make it to the playoffs. It's a realistic goal.
