Vitality , GamerLegion , FaZe, and NAVI Triumph in Their Matches at BLAST Open Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier Group A

The first day of play at the BLAST Open Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier in Group A featured four series that identified the initial favorites for advancing to the main stage. Vitality and GamerLegion , as well as FaZe and NAVI, managed to defeat their opponents — M80 , Virtus.pro , ECSTATIC , and Fnatic respectively. More intense matchups await, but it's already clear which teams are serious contenders.

Vitality vs. M80
Vitality secured a victory over M80 in a tense series with a score of 2:1. M80 started confidently, taking Overpass (13:3), but Vitality turned the tide — they leveled the score on Dust II (13:7) and clinched the win on the decisive Inferno (13:10). Thus, Vitality advances to the upper bracket semifinals to face GamerLegion . M80 moves to the lower bracket to compete against Virtus.pro .

The MVP of the match was Shahar "flameZ" Shushan. The Vitality player achieved 28 kills with 20 deaths, an ADR of 118, and ended the series with a rating of 10.0, playing a key role in his team's success. 

GamerLegion vs. Virtus.pro
GamerLegion defeated Virtus.pro in the upper bracket quarterfinals with a score of 2:0. The series took place on Dust II (13:7) and Ancient (13:9). With this victory, the team advances to the upper bracket semifinals to face Vitality . Virtus.pro drops to the lower bracket to continue their survival battle against M80 .

The standout player was Sebastian "Tauson" Lindelöf. He finished the match with 42 kills, 25 deaths, a +17 difference, and a rating of 7.7. 

FaZe vs. ECSTATIC
FaZe defeated ECSTATIC in the upper bracket quarterfinals of BLAST Open Fall 2025 with a score of 2:1. The opponents exchanged wins on the first two maps: ECSTATIC took Overpass (13:10), FaZe responded on Dust II (13:0). The decisive outcome was on Inferno, where FaZe prevailed — 16:13. The victory allowed the European team to advance to the upper bracket semifinals, while ECSTATIC will continue in the lower bracket.

The MVP of the match was David "frozen" Čerňanský. The FaZe player achieved 60 kills with 38 deaths, an ADR of 100.9, and ended the series with a rating of 1.49, being the main factor in his team's success. 

NAVI vs. Fnatic
Natus Vincere secured a victory over Fnatic in the upper bracket quarterfinals of BLAST Open Fall 2025 with a score of 2:0. NAVI took Train with a score of 13:10 and then solidified their advantage on Mirage — 13:8. With this victory, NAVI advanced to the upper bracket semifinals to face FaZe. Fnatic , on the other hand, moved to the lower bracket to continue their battle for a spot in the main stage of the tournament.

The MVP of the match was Ivan "iM" Mihai. The NAVI player achieved 37 kills with 30 deaths, an ADR of 90, and ended the series with a rating of 7.2. His consistent play and key frags on both maps were crucial for the team's success. 

Results and Upcoming Matches
The victories of Vitality , GamerLegion , FaZe, and NAVI advance them to the upper bracket semifinals in Group A, where they will face each other. Meanwhile, M80 , Virtus.pro , ECSTATIC , and Fnatic have dropped to the lower bracket, where they will fight for survival.

Remember, only the top six teams will earn the right to compete in the main stage of BLAST Open Fall 2025, which will take place from September 5 to 8 with a prize pool of $330,000.
