In Group A of the BLAST Open Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier, elimination matches of the lower bracket took place. GamerLegion and NAVI unexpectedly faced defeat and exited the tournament, finishing in 13th-16th place. Fnatic and M80 still have a chance to advance to the main stage and will play tomorrow for a spot in the main part of the tournament.

Fnatic vs. GamerLegion
Fnatic defeated GamerLegion 2-0 in the lower bracket of Group A. Fnatic won their pick Train (13-11), then did the same on Ancient (13-11), leaving no room for a comeback for their opponent.

The MVP of the match was Cai "CYHPER" Watson. He finished the series with 37 kills and 33 deaths, and recorded an ADR of 81. 

NAVI vs. M80
M80 defeated Natus Vincere 2-1 in the lower bracket of Group A. M80 won their pick Ancient (13-9), but NAVI responded with a victory on Train (13-7). On the decisive Inferno, M80 surprised and secured a win with a score of 13-11.

The MVP of the match was Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich. He finished the series with 53 kills and 42 deaths, with an ADR of 80. 

Now Fnatic will face M80 for a spot in the lan part of the tournament. GamerLegion and NAVI exit the tournament in 9th-12th place, earning $7,500 in prize money.

The BLAST Open Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier runs from August 27 to September 1 online. The top six teams from the qualification will advance to the lan playoffs, which will be held at OVO Arena Wembley.
