Yaroslav “ Miposhka ” Naydenov said that after the victory over Team Liquid in the playoffs of BLAST Slam III, the Team Spirit squad has recovered from the failed performance at the previous tournament of the series.

The player made the corresponding statement on Telegram.

The player also noted that the team lost on the second map due to a failed Beastmaster experimental pick, while in the first game the roster was able to pull off a win despite a poor start. On the deciding map of the series, although the team was not completely confident in their draft, the decision to pick Medusa still turned out to be a good one.

“What's on the cards? On the first one at the beginning we didn't go very directly, they pressed us hard there, but then we were able to find moments despite that, caught on mistakes.

On the second one we decided to try to play a little bit with Beastmaster. It didn't quite work out well, I guess, and we didn't quite get the heroes right. In general, we didn't play well.

On the third, we decided to change our approach a bit: we took something we weren't sure about, but at least this idea seemed right to me. We decided to play with Medusa, and it ended up working out pretty well in the draft, and we played great.”

It should be noted that Team Spirit missed the previous BLAST Slam II event, and in the first tournament of the series showed one of the worst results, falling out after the first round of the playoffs.
