Another day of the LPL Split 2 2025 has concluded. Two matches took place within the Ascend group. JD Gaming defeated Team WE with a score of 2:1, and Invictus Gaming won a closely contested series against ThunderTalk Gaming with the same score of 2:1. Both matches concluded on the third maps.
JD Gaming started the series against Team WE confidently by taking the first map. Despite a comeback from the opponent on the second map, JDG clinched the decisive game. The MVP of the match was JDG's mid-laner Li "Scout" Ye-chan, boasting an impressive average damage of 31.1k for the series.
In the second match of the day, Invictus Gaming defeated ThunderTalk Gaming with a score of 2:1. TT managed to put up a fight and took one map, but in the decisive game, Invictus seized the initiative and dominated through macro play. The best player of the match was Chen "GALA" Wei, with an average damage of 21.1k for the series.

LPL Split 2 2025 runs from March 22 to June 14. Teams compete for a prize pool of $344,661, the championship title, and slots for the MSI 2025 and EWC.
