The organization 100 Thieves has announced the end of its journey in the League of Legends Championship of the Americas after the 2025 season. This year will be the club's final one on the professional LoL scene, and starting in 2026, its spot in the league will be taken by a new partner, which Riot Games will introduce later.
In 2024, 100 Thieves made a strategic business decision to sell their permanent franchise slot in the LCS and join the 2025 season as a temporary guest team. As the organization notes, this arrangement with Riot was always intended to be temporary while the league searched for a long-term partner for the future. Now that a choice has been made, 100 Thieves officially concludes their eight-year journey in League of Legends, which began back in 2018.
100 Thieves has been an integral part of the North American League of Legends scene. We are proud of our players, coaches, fans, and everyone who has been part of this journey. This final season will be an opportunity to properly bid farewell to the league that helped shape us as an organization.
The official statement reads.
During their time in the LCS/LTA, the team achieved many milestones: reaching the finals in their debut split, winning the championship in 2021, developing one of the strongest amateur programs in the region, and assembling dozens of star-studded rosters.
Despite leaving LoL, 100 Thieves will continue to compete in other disciplines, including Valorant, Call of Duty, and Fortnite.
