Former Bilibili Gaming jungler Yan "Wei" Yanwei has joined the roster of Invictus Gaming . He will replace Zhao "Jiejie" Lijie, who will be leaving the starting lineup. This is one of the most talked-about changes in the Chinese offseason ahead of the start of LPL Split 3 2025.

In april of this year, Wei was benched by Bilibili Gaming following inconsistent performances in the spring. The team began to build their gameplay around a new jungler, while Wei gradually faded from the active roster. He officially left BLG on June 16, and a month later, it was announced that he would be transferring to Invictus Gaming .

Replacing Jiejie with Wei could be the key to stability in IG's macro play, especially considering the team has experienced carries in all lanes. With the new jungler, IG is preparing for their debut with the revamped lineup—on July 19, the team will play their first match in LPL Split 3 2025 against Top Esports .
