Riot Games has officially unveiled the schedule and format for LEC 2026 Spring, with the tournament set to kick off on March 28 featuring all 10 teams from the European league. The top two teams at the end of the split will earn coveted slots at Mid-Season Invitational 2026.
Regular season matches will be played in a best-of-3 format, with playoffs stepping up to best-of-5. Standard game days begin at midnight (12:00 AM), with most featuring two bo3 series. The first three Saturdays of the split are exceptions, with three series scheduled on each and broadcasts starting earlier at 9:00 PM.
Regular Season Format
The regular stage will follow a single round robin system, with every team playing one match against each of the other nine sides. All matches in this phase will be best-of-3.
At the conclusion of the regular season, the top six teams advance to the playoffs. The top four sides will enter via the upper bracket, while fifth and sixth place will begin in the lower bracket.
Playoff Format
The playoffs will be run in a double elimination format, with all series played as best-of-5.
The playoffs will crown the LEC 2026 Spring champion and determine the two teams representing Europe at MSI 2026.
Away Game Weekends
The split will also include two away weekends as part of the LEC Roadtrip program, bringing the action directly to fans across Europe:

Additional Changes
The LEC 2026 Summer split is expected to follow a broadly similar format, ensuring consistency for both teams and fans throughout the year.
