The matchups for the first round of the playoffs at PGL Astana 2025 have been determined. Spirit will start their tournament run against GamerLegion , while Natus Vincere will face off against M80 .

Other matchups include: G2 against MIBR , Virtus.pro will play against Ninjas in Pyjamas , and The MongolZ versus FURIA Esports . Astralis is set to match up against ODDIK , while aurora will compete against BIG , and pain will begin the tournament with a match against HOTU .

The group stage of PGL Astana 2025 will be conducted in a Swiss system format. All matches will be played in a best-of-3 format. At the end of this stage, the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will take place from May 16 to 18 and will follow a single-elimination format at the Barys Arena. All matches, except for the grand final, will be BO3. The tournament final will be played in a best-of-5 format.
