Time: 2025-08-04 16:05 (UTC)

StarLadder has announced the updated dates for the StarSeries Season 19 for CS2 . The online qualification for the tournament will take place from August 13 to 17, and the lan finals will be held from September 18 to 21 in Budapest. The prize pool for the tournament will be $500,000, as announced on StarLadder's official social media.

The lan finals for StarSeries Season 19 will take place in Budapest, Hungary . The venue will traditionally be one of the largest arenas in the city, where the best teams from around the world will gather.

The tournament format includes an online qualification and an offline final. The online qualification will be held in a GSL group format with a Play-in stage. Sixteen teams from Europe will participate, playing 24 matches in a BO3 format over 5 days.

The top 4 will advance to the final stage of the tournament, where they will meet four teams that received direct invitations from the Global VRS region. A total of eight teams will compete in the lan playoffs, with matches played in a Double Elimination format, and all matches will also be in a BO3 format.

Initially, StarSeries Season 19 was supposed to take place at the end of May 2025 but was canceled and rescheduled by the organizers. The list of invited teams will be announced later.

This will be the first tournament from StarLadder in almost 6 years, with their last tournament being StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8, which took place in October 2019, where Evil Geniuses claimed victory by defeating Fnatic in the finals with a score of 2:0. StarLadder will also host the Budapest Major 2025 this year, with the tournament running from November 24 to December 14.
