The MongolZ claimed victory over Vitality in the semifinals of the Esports World Cup 2025. The Mongolians showed confident gameplay and managed to close the series 2:1, thereby advancing to the grand final of the tournament.

The first map was Mirage— The MongolZ 's pick. Despite an even start, the Mongolian team took the initiative and secured a win with a score of 13:8. On Dust2, it was Vitality who displayed more cohesive play: Vitality took eight rounds on offense and confidently finished the map—13:9. The decisive match took place on Nuke, where The MongolZ completely dominated. In the first half, they won ten rounds on defense and conceded only two rounds, smoothly leading the match to victory—13:7.

The best player of the match was Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold, who finished the series with 56 kills and 40 deaths, ADR 96. His aggressive style and consistent shooting allowed The MongolZ to turn around crucial moments on all three maps. 

After the victory, The MongolZ move on to the grand final, where they will face the winner of the match between Falcons and aurora . Vitality , on the other hand, will play in the third-place match against the loser of the same match.

The Esports World Cup 2025 takes place from August 20 to 24 in Riyadh, at the Boulevard Riyadh City arena. Sixteen top teams are competing for a prize pool of $1,250,000.
