The team seeding for the Esports World Cup 2025 for Counter-Strike 2 has been determined. In the first round of the upper bracket, Team Vitality will face off against Team Liquid , Astralis will meet TyLoo , Natus Vincere will take on 3DMAX , and GamerLegion will battle The MongolZ . The matches will kick off on August 20.

In the second half of the bracket, Virtus.pro will begin their fight against Mouz , G2 Esports will face Team Falcons , FaZe Clan will play against Aurora Gaming , and Heroic will start the tournament with a match against Team Spirit . The winners of these matches will advance to the quarterfinals, while the losers will exit the tournament, as this stage will be held in a Single-Elimination format.

The Esports World Cup 2025 will take place from August 20 to 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,250,000, with the winner receiving $500,000 and 1,000 EWC Club Points.
