Media: tN1R to Join Spirit After Esports World Cup, Replacing zont1x

Time: 2025-08-12 14:03 (UTC)

Spirit , who recently won at IEM Cologne, is preparing for an unexpected transfer—after the Esports World Cup, Belarusian player Andrey “tN1R” Tatarnovich will join their roster. The intrigue is that at the tournament in Riyadh, he will play against his future team for the first time, but still as part of his current club.

Heroic , tN1R's current club, has officially announced the player's sale to an undisclosed team. We previously reported in our separate article that Heroic 's Esports Director noted in a comment to HLTV that the player had a buyout clause—and according to HLTV sources, Spirit took advantage of this opportunity.

Deal Details and Tournament Outlook
According to sources, tN1R will replace Ukrainian Miroslav “zont1x” Plakhotnia in Spirit , who has been with the team for almost two years. This move marks the second change in Spirit 's starting lineup in just over a month: earlier, Ivan “zweih” Gogin joined the team in place of Boris “magixx” Vorobyev, and their debut tournament with the revamped roster brought the team a trophy in Cologne. The Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia will be tN1R's last tournament with Heroic . Ironically, his first match there will be against Spirit .

Spirit Roster After the Transfer
Leonid ”chopper” Vishnyakov
Danil ”donk” Kryshkovets
Dmitry ”sh1ro” Sokolov
Ivan ”zweih” Gogin
Andrey ”tN1R” Tatarnovich
Sergey ”hally” Shavaev (coach)

Given Spirit 's current form and tN1R's individual skill level, this transfer could make the team even stronger as the season progresses. If the adaptation process goes smoothly, Spirit could solidify their position at the top of the global rankings and continue to collect major titles, making this move one of the standout events of the summer transfer window in CS2 .
