StarLadder has announced that following the withdrawal of one of the teams previously given a direct invitation to the LAN stage of StarSeries Fall 2025, the slot has been awarded to Ninjas in Pyjamas . The team that declined remains unknown.

As a result, the match between NIP and BIG in the closed qualifiers has been canceled — BIG will advance directly to the Play-In deciders. At the time of the announcement, NIP had a 1-1 record in the online group stage, having secured a technical victory over Passion UA (due to the team's disbandment, more details can be found in our article.) and losing to 9INE.

According to the tournament regulations (TOR 3.2.6), in the event of an invited team's withdrawal, the organizers move to the next team in the global VRS ranking. NIP was next on the list and secured a spot in the main stage.

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 will take place from September 18 to 21 in Budapest, Hungary. Eight participants will compete for a prize pool of $500,000. The full list of invited teams will be announced later.
