Denis “electroNic” Sharipov has been benched following another disappointing performance by Virtus.pro . The decision was announced on Friday, just hours after the team was eliminated from the BLAST Open Fall 2025 in last place after losing to M80 .

Joining the Team
electroNic joined Virtus.pro in April 2024 as a top transfer from Cloud9 . He replaced Nikolay “mir” Bityukov and became the key player in the revamped roster. At the end of 2024, he took on the captaincy after Jami “Jame” Ali was benched.

Time with the Roster
In a year and a half, electroNic failed to live up to the high-profile signing. After the summer break, the team underperformed in three consecutive tournaments: last place at FISSURE Playground, 9th–12th place at IEM Cologne 2025 Stage 1, and 5th–8th at BLAST Bounty Fall.

Statistics
The issues were evident in the numbers: an average rating of 5.7, kill count of 0.60, deaths at 0.71, and damage per round at 71.28. electroNic managed only 0.075 first kills while allowing 0.124 first deaths, with a headshot percentage of just 11.9% and accuracy at 19.3%.

The next tournament for the team will be FISSURE Playground 2, scheduled from September 12 to 21. The prize pool for the tournament is $1,250,000.
