Watson spoke about radical changes in Gaimin Gladiators

Time: 2025-01-01 10:02 (UTC)

Gaimin Gladiators carry Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov said that he has not called much in Gaimin Gladiators which is a different case than what he was doing previously. The esports athlete admitted to talking way more in the game than in the past and he is not afraid to admit it.

He shared this during a twitch stream.

“Where did you get the idea that I don’t call in GG? I talk a lot in the game. I’m actually done with talking so much. Previously, I was the quiet One and I played of course. Everyone in each team told me to open my mouth and talk more. I used to talk but not as much as I do now”

Watson confessed that he used to be shy and not so outspoken until he was signed by GG, which in turn is understandable as now the player was likely expected to take charge during squad games. This was most likely a cue to suggest that the esports gamer is taking a lead when it comes to pressure situations in team games. All this verbosity makes this particular game winner seem mouth everywhere while playing.

All other members of the team including Quinn Callahan did however restate that Watson is not the centerpiece of the squad but quite the reverse, which is most times Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, or Marcus “Ace” Hellgarde, and Erik “Tofu” Engel.

Previously, Watson also expressed for the first time about Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, his views on him.
