Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov has spoken out about the banning of 12 professional players from the Chinese region, emphasizing that the situation points to problems in the local Dota 2 pro scene.

The former cybersportsman and streamer expressed his opinion in his Telegram channel:

“In China - further proof that the scene there is questionable, to put it mildly. Today Valve and Perfect World banned 12 players for integrity violations. The exact reasons are not specified, but we are most likely talking about 322 schemes, accountsharing or cheats - or maybe all at once.

The list, of course, is not too high-profile - all players from the dash-2/3/322-scheme. However, this is another confirmation that not everything is not smooth in our “ Kingdom ”. The case with player X1aOyU is especially telling - he already received a temporary ban a couple of years ago, got out, and immediately got caught again. Now permanently. That's the way it is”

NS emphasized that despite the lack of dash-1 level players, this incident raises questions about the integrity and stability of the Chinese competitive scene. He especially noted the case of Li “xiaoyu” Qianyu, who had already been penalized previously but broke the rules again and received a lifetime ban.

Recall that Valve and Perfect World blocked 12 players for violations, five of them were punished for life.
