The fifth day of play at the PGL Wallachia Season 5 was the last chance for six teams with a 2-2 record in the group stage. In tense series, playoff spots were secured by Xtreme Gaming , Tundra Esports , and BetBoom Team . Meanwhile, AGG, Wildcard , and Heroic suffered decisive losses and ended their tournament run.

Tundra Esports won a tough series against Wildcard . The team took the first and third maps, thus securing their exit from the group with an overall score of 2-1. Wildcard responded with a victory on the second map but couldn't close out the decisive match.

Xtreme Gaming confidently handled Heroic , securing a clean 2-0 victory. Thanks to this result, the Chinese team advanced to the next stage of the tournament. For Heroic , this loss was their third, eliminating their chances of continuing the competition.

The day concluded with a match between AGG and BetBoom Team . The Russian team started with a win on the first map, AGG responded on the second, but in the decisive third, BetBoom again proved stronger and advanced to the playoffs with a final score of 2-1.
