On June 28, the lower bracket playoff matches of the PGL Wallachia Season 5 took place. Team Spirit and BetBoom Team secured victories, keeping their chances alive for a spot in the grand final. Xtreme Gaming and Natus Vincere are out of the tournament.

Team Spirit confidently defeated Xtreme Gaming with a 2:0 score. The MVP of the series was Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, who showcased an impressive average damage of 38.5 thousand. Spirit controlled the game from the start and didn't allow a comeback from their opponent.

In the second match, BetBoom Team defeated Natus Vincere — 2:0. Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko was the standout player of the match with an average damage of 12.1 thousand. NAVI failed to put up a fight on any of the maps, concluding their tournament run.
