Team Falcons , a powerhouse throughout the 2025 competitive season, entered TI2025 as one of the title favorites. For Sneyking , who previously lifted the Aegis in 2022 with  Tundra Esports , this Grand Final appearance marks another chance to etch his name in Dota 2 history. Falcons now await their opponent in the final potentially a rematch with PARIVISION , who drop to the lower bracket after today’s loss.

Road to the Grand Final

For Sneyking , even after eight appearances at the tournament, the magic of The International hasn’t faded. He admitted that the event remains a cornerstone in every Dota player’s career:

I think The International is the most special tournament of the year for every single Dota player. So it doesn't matter how many times I've been to TI. It's always, always a very special moment.  

The veteran emphasized what clinching a Grand Final spot means not only to him personally, but for the collective journey of Falcons:

I think it means the world. Because every Dota player's dream is to make it to the International final and show that all the grinding and all the hard work that every player has done and put into the game is shown to the world.  

When asked about dreaming of lifting the Aegis once more, he pointed out the importance of staying grounded and focused:

Obviously I thought about it. But you don't want to get ahead of yourself. So just one step at a time. We just need to focus on what we need to do tomorrow.

Lessons from Mistakes

Reflecting on the road through the group stage, Sneyking confessed that much of Falcons’ strength was born from early struggles:

Making a lot of mistakes in group stage and learning from them? Because I think we played like crap in group stage with all those 60-minute games against Tidebound and Xtreme. And we really learned a lot from them. I think the only reason why we won this third game is because we really learned from our mistakes in the group stage and we didn't repeat them.

Tactical Challenges

The win against PARIVISION also came with humorous moments in draft pressure. Speaking about their opponent’s midlaner, Sneyking revealed how their preparation limited the rival hero pool:

I mean, I think he kind of just ran out of heroes. I think once Slark and Monkey were gone, he didn't really know what to play.

And when pressed on who he expects to meet in the Grand Finals, Sneyking made his prediction without hesitation:

I think it'll be Pari again. I think they are the most strong team outside of us, obviously.

By knocking PARIVISION into the lower bracket, Falcons became the first confirmed Grand Finalist of TI2025. With experience, resilience, and the leadership of Sneyking , the team has set itself up for a chance at their organization’s first-ever Aegis.
