What Happened

The reasons for Flipster TALON's withdrawal were not specified, but ESL officially confirmed the replacement through their Twitter account.  Team Aureus  received the invitation for being the closest competitor from SEA, ensuring the balance of regional representation in the league.

About Team Aureus

Team Aureus  is relatively young and originates from Southeast Asia, having recently gained prominence in the regional Dota 2 leagues. This will be the team's debut at the DreamLeague level, one of the main tournaments in the ESL Dota Pro Circuit.

What's Next

With DreamLeague Season 27 commencing in a few weeks within the ESL Pro Tour, the world's best teams will continue competing for points and a significant share of the prize pool. Many will be watching to see how  Team Aureus  performs with this unexpected international opportunity.

As a result, Flipster TALON has been removed from DreamLeague Season 27 and has been replaced by Team Aureus , the new hope for the SEA region.
