A bug has been discovered in Dota 2 that allows players to throw an enemy hero to the other side of the map

Time: 2025-03-24 18:30 (UTC)

A new exploit in Dota 2 Rubick and Bane could cause havoc in a game by shifting the opponent to the opposite side of the map.

People have started to share what they know about this on social media.

Reports suggest that in order to perform this, there must be three heroes, and one of them must have a null ability animation.

Steps to perform the exploit:
Pick Rubick with Aghanims Scepter then steal Bane’s ultimate, Fiend’s Grip. Aghanims Scepter on Bane creates illusions which can cast abilities from 4 million units away!

Now keep in mind, the illusions created from the ultimate cannot use ability animations, so use heroes like phoenix or Earth Spirit, who lack ability animations.

After using the stolen Fiend’s Grip, activate any ability on the illusions and madness will begin to happen.

It is safe to say Valve is going to patch that bug very quickly. Breaking Dota 2 by throwing users off the map is not something they are likely to allow.

Not long ago, MMR boosters discovered a new way to circumvent Valve’s restrictions with the Immortal Draft.
