Xtreme Gaming emerged as the winners of the closed Chinese qualifier for The International 2025, confidently defeating Yakult's Brothers with a score of 3:0 in the grand final. With this victory, the team secured their spot in the main tournament of the year, which will take place in the fall in Hamburg.
In the final series, Xtreme Gaming dominated all three maps — the team controlled the pace of the game, initiated favorable fights, and showcased confident decision-making during the draft phase. Yakult's Brothers were unable to seize the initiative or gain an advantage at any point.
The standout performer was the team's carry, Wang "Ame" Chunyu. He concluded the decisive game with incredible stats, dealing an average of 32.3k damage across all three maps.
The Chinese qualifier for TI 2025 took place from June 9 to 12, and Xtreme Gaming became the second representative from the region. The team has now joined the list of participants for The International 2025, which will be held in Hamburg this year.
