OmaR on TI14: "For me, the main thing is to play as well as possible and enjoy it"

Time: 2025-08-26 12:15 (UTC)

Support player Nigma Galaxy Omar "OmaR" Mougrabi discussed in an interview with BLAST about the preparation for The International 2025, his impressions of Clavision Snow Ruyi, and how GH and SumaiL influence the team's atmosphere.

Reflecting on the performance at Clavision Snow Ruyi, OmaR noted that the team performed excellently in the group stage but failed to handle the pressure in the playoffs.

We are still trying to understand what went wrong. In the group stage, we were possibly the best team; everyone respected and feared us. But as soon as the playoffs began, we didn't adapt properly. Maybe it was nerves or discomfort on stage. We just played worse when it mattered.

Speaking about the positives of the tournament, Omar emphasized that the main lesson was the team's cohesion.

The biggest positive is how we played as a team in the group stage. We moved in sync, and our playstyle was overwhelming for our opponents. We really played very well until everything went wrong.

OmaR also highlighted the role of coach Kuroky , who assists the team in preparation and drafts.

He is completely absorbed in this. Kuroky helps us with in-game decisions, drafts, and supports us off the server. He's smart and hardworking, and drafting is his strong suit.

The player specifically mentioned how GH and SumaiL affect the atmosphere in Nigma Galaxy .

GH is a beacon of positivity in any situation. No matter what happens, you see how he brings good and positive energy to the team. SumaiL , on the other hand, is full of confidence. Just watching him makes you start believing in yourself, no words needed.

Looking forward to The International 2025, OmaR emphasized that for him, the main goal is to go out and showcase his best game.

For me, it's just about playing at the highest level and enjoying the moment. I just want to go out there and play good Dota, and then we'll see.
