Previously, teams would engage in fierce battles solely to secure the coveted spots in the World Championship, but this year's rewards are even more generous as teams will also compete for slots in the newly introduced 2025 Asia-Pacific League!

4 partnership team slots:

The selection process for partnership teams has begun, and we will follow a rigorous process to choose the teams that will become the pillars of the new Asia-Pacific League. This partnership will lay the foundation for competitive intensity and stability, and the strength of the partnership teams will contribute to our efforts to elevate the esports level of League of Legends in the Asia-Pacific League.

4 guest team slots:

-2 competitive advantage guest team slots: The highest-ranking non-partner teams in the 2024 PCS and VCS playoffs will earn slots in the new league next year, which means the 2024 summer playoffs are particularly crucial.

-2 invited guest team slots: We will invite two additional guest teams to participate to ensure diversity among the competing teams, creating a more inclusive and competitive environment. We are committed to showcasing outstanding teams from various regions to drive the overall growth and viewership of the league.

Note: Guest team slots will be determined by the results of the promotion/relegation matches at the end of the 2025 season.
