The organization BRION has officially announced the release of the team's head coach, Choi "Edgar" Woo Bum. The reason cited is the unsatisfactory results of the team and the desire to achieve the set goal of qualifying for Worlds 2025.

Edgar, who has led BRION since 2021, failed to elevate the team to the upper part of the LCK standings, with the best result being only 6th place. Over several seasons, the team consistently remained in the lower part of the rankings, which drew a lot of criticism from fans and experts.

In their official statement, BRION emphasized that changes in the coaching staff are a necessary step to reboot the team ahead of the decisive season, in which the organization aims to reach the League of Legends World Championship.

It should be noted that Edgar has substantial experience on the professional scene. His most notable success was winning Worlds 2017 with the team Samsung Galaxy, which for the first time in history managed to defeat SKT T1 with faker in the finals of Worlds 2017. However, he was unable to replicate similar success with BRION, which ultimately led to the end of their collaboration.

Currently, BRION has not announced who will take the position of head coach. The organization stated that they will provide more information about the team's future development strategy soon.
