During the LTA North 2025 Split 3, the team LYON unexpectedly defeated the favorites of the match — Team Liquid with a score of 2:1. The match was spectacular and filled with moments, yet LYON performed better in the key moments of the series.

LYON won the first map thanks to an aggressive start and excellent synergy between the lanes. The marksman Hena particularly stood out, making several crucial kills on Varus and securing the advantage. In response, on the second map, Team Liquid completely took the initiative — their gameplay became significantly more confident, and Yuuji on Wukong controlled the jungle and key objectives, allowing TL to level the series. Everything was decided on the third map, where LYON once again showed incredible play — a quick snowball, excellent communication, and team actions allowed them to close the game in just over 30 minutes with a score of 22:6.

The best player of the series can be considered Saint , who triumphed over his opponent in the mid-lane three times and provided consistent damage in crucial moments.

LTA North 2025 Split 3 runs from July 26 to September 8. Teams compete for the championship title and spots at Worlds 2025 and LTA 2025 Region Finals.
