BeryL : The coaching staff is letting the jungler take the lead, and the tempo difference compared to the Legends group is the most obvious.

Live Bar, September 4th:  Dplus KIA support player BeryL recently accepted an interview with Korean media.

With the playoffs approaching, Dplus KIA is attempting to revamp their team's command structure, centering around Lucid's Choi Yong-hyuk. Cho Gwan-hee explained, "This is to help Yong-hyuk develop a sense of the bigger picture. When a team's leadership is driven by a player who can operate smoothly based on that leadership, it significantly contributes to their team's strength, so the coaching staff is working on this approach. While the coordination of the five players is crucial these days, and the importance of the lead player has decreased, someone still needs to be at the heart of the command. Furthermore, the five players must be aligned in their direction to become a strong team."

When asked what qualities Dplus KIA , as a rising team, needs to possess to defeat a Legends team, Zhao Qianxi mentioned the key point of "tempo adaptation." He emphasized, "Legends matches are very fast-paced. While there are specific differences in combat ability and attention to detail, the tempo gap is the most obvious. We must adapt through direct confrontation."

As a veteran player, Zhao Qianxi is firmly entrenched in his core role. The secret to his dynamic performance lies in consistent conditioning. Having been exercising consistently for about 50 days, he revealed, "I'm doing weight training and aerobic exercise, and I'm currently training for over an hour daily. To keep up, I've been actively exercising since July. I previously exercised for three weeks in 2020, but this is the first time I've trained systematically like this. It's been very beneficial, and I've already lost 6-7 kg (16-18 lbs). My goal is to maintain my weight in the low 60 kg range."
