These rumors are supported by the weak performances of these organizations in 2025. In the last LPL split, RNG was already competing in the LDL league and finished in 11th–12th place. FPX and Ultra Prime ended  LPL Split 3 2025 in 9th–12th positions, while LGD ended up last in 16th place.

The insider also claims that in 2026, the player salary cap in the league will be reduced by 30%. Additionally, the franchise contracts with organizations, which were signed for 10 years, are nearing completion within two years. This could lead to more exits from the league and a restructuring of the format. There have been no official statements from the organizers yet.
