After the award ceremony, Gumayusi admitted he still couldn't believe what happened:

Honestly, it all feels like a dream. I didn't expect this at all. Thanks to everyone who voted for me as the OPPO final MVP. This year was very tough for me — each season I had to prove my worth. But this time, it was different because I finally proved it to myself.  

The player emphasized that inner confidence was the key to his performance at Worlds:

I am truly happy that I was able to prove who I am. Now I can confidently say that I am the best marksman in the world.  

When the hosts asked him about his feelings surrounded by teammates and fans chanting his name, Gumayusi couldn't hold back his emotions:

As I said, this year was incredibly tough. Without the support of the fans, I wouldn't have made it this far. I am infinitely grateful to everyone who believed in me to the end — the fans, friends, family, and of course, my teammates. And in conclusion, I want to say that I am very thankful to God for this chance.   

T1 won the Worlds 2025 final, securing their sixth championship title in history. The team confirmed their status as the greatest organization in League of Legends history, and Gumayusi became the symbol of its new generation — confident, mature, and ready for any challenges.
