T1 Fans Bring Protest Trucks to Club Office After Gumayusi's Departure

Time: 2025-11-19 11:00 (UTC)

Outside the main office of  T1  in Seoul , protest trucks with harsh messages directed at the club's management appeared on November 19.

The protest was sparked by some fans' reaction to the departure of Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong and dissatisfaction with the work of the operations director and coaching staff.

The sides of the trucks displayed strong messages to T1 's operations director and management, whom fans hold responsible for the team's personnel losses and instability.

The inscription on the left truck (translated with preserved meaning):

  • "Thanks to T1 's operations director."
  • "Incompetent T1 leadership team, resign immediately."
  • "Received huge sponsorship fees but failed to re-sign the three-time consecutive champion and FMVP, becoming a joke in the industry."
  • "The worst management and coaching team is indeed at T1 ."
  • "Top players against the worst management team."

The text on the right truck was equally harsh (translated with preserved meaning):

  • "SKT's operations director is worthless trash, just leave."
  • "The worst club doesn't deserve the best advertising."
  • "Hateful comments and long-term organized attacks go unnoticed."
  • "Management that can't even protect its players should leave."
  • "They treat fans' trust like a toy and players' hard work like accessories."

The appearance of the protest vehicles occurred amid the community's emotional reaction to Gumayusi's departure after seven seasons with T1 . Some fans believe the club did not make enough effort to retain the three-time consecutive world champion.

Throughout November, dissatisfaction with T1 's management has been growing within the fan community. Previously, a documentary video by Dplus KIA , which showcased internal team conflicts, sparked discussions and increased audience focus on the quality of club management in the LCK. These incidents have drawn attention to the issue of toxic fan communities in Korean esports and their impact on players and teams.
