Feather Punished After faker 's Solo Queue Complaint

Time: 2026-01-12 23:00 (UTC)

Support player Wang "Feather" Tian-Ci-Fu from ThunderTalk Gaming received disciplinary action following a solo queue incident in League of Legends involving Lee " faker " Sang-hyeok.

The sanctions were prompted by a complaint from faker regarding the player's inappropriate behavior during a ranked match. As a result of the investigation, Feather was fined and forfeited part of his monthly salary.

Sequence of Events

The incident occurred during a solo queue game where Feather played Rakan on the same team as faker , who was playing Azir. Throughout the match, faker repeatedly pointed out the support player's inappropriate actions and submitted reports for negative attitude, unsportsmanlike conduct, and ping abuse. He later also complained about instances of AFK and openly expressed dissatisfaction with the situation.

After the match concluded, faker submitted another complaint, hoping for sanctions to be applied. In the next game, the players encountered each other again in solo queue, but on opposing teams, with Feather still not having been punished at that point. The situation gained significant attention within the community.

Club and Player Reaction

Following an internal investigation, ThunderTalk Gaming classified Feather's behavior as negative gameplay, violating professional standards and league regulations. The organization issued an official warning, imposed a fine, withheld part of his salary, and apologized to other participants involved in the incident.

Feather later issued a public apology, acknowledging that the incident resulted from a poor mindset and attitude towards the game. He took full responsibility for what happened and promised to change his behavior in future matches.
