Insider Reports Inspired is the Highest-Paid Player in the LCS

Time: 2026-01-24 14:00 (UTC)

After spending two years with  FlyQuest  in North America, jungler Kacper “Inspired” Słoma became one of the most sought-after players during the 2025–2026 offseason.

Teams such as FlyQuest Team Liquid , and  Shopify Rebellion  showed interest. In an unexpected move for many fans, Inspired ultimately chose a deal with LYON. Insiders shared this information with Sheep Esports.

While the exact details of Inspired's salary remain undisclosed, sources indicate that his base salary exceeds $500,000 per year, with the potential for even higher earnings through performance bonuses. This places him well ahead of other LCS players, with no one else reportedly reaching similar figures in 2026. The salary level is notably higher than the LCS average, which has seen a decline in recent years. For context, Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg earned over $2 million annually with  100 Thieves  in 2022.

In comparison to the LEC, Inspired’s salary is significant. Although Rasmus "Caps" Winther remains the highest-paid player in the LEC with a higher base salary than Inspired, the total earnings for Inspired could surpass Caps’ if LYON performs well this season. This is due to the large performance-based bonuses written into his contract, which are tied to the team's success.
