Gen.G took the opening map by controlling the tempo from the early stages. Dplus KIA answered in Game 2 to equalize the score, but Gen.G adapted in the following matches and closed the series with back-to-back wins.

Geon-bu "Canyon" Kim was named MVP of the match. The Gen.G jungler averaged a 4.1/1.1/6.7 KDA with 56.3% kill participation and 16.2K damage across the series, consistently impacting skirmishes and neutral objectives. Following the result, Gen.G advance to the Upper Bracket Final, moving one step closer to the title. Dplus KIA drop to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinal, where they will continue their playoff campaign.

The playoff stage will continue on February 15 with a series between  T1  and  BNK FEARX , scheduled to begin at 9:00 CET.

LCK Cup 2026 runs from January 12 to February 28 in South Korea in a Lan format, featuring 10 teams. The top two teams of the tournament will represent the region at First Stand 2026.
