A week ago, the qualifiers in the EMEA region were suspended due to technical issues and complaints from professional players about the terrible equipment. But today it became known that the organizers have fixed the problems, and the competitions will return tomorrow.

Problem in EMEA
A few days ago, during the last game day of the group stage of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1, players experienced a lot of problems. The FPS of some PCs dropped below 300, ping on some servers was more than 30, while players were used to less than 10, and much more. Because of this, the organizers decided to postpone the matches of the last game day between Team Liquid , Karmine Corp , Fnatic and Team Heretics indefinitely. Read more about this in our article.

The return of the competition
But today, May 1, an important message appeared on the official VALORANT Esports EMEA account. In it, the organizers announce the resumption of matches at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1. As it became known, the suspended match between Team Liquid and Karmine Corp continues after the score of 1:0, and the next fight will begin afterwards.

After the playtests conducted over the past 48 hours, we are ready to resume the regular season of the VCT EMEA Stage 1. The competition will return to the arena on Friday, May 2, without spectators, with the match between Team Liquid and Karmine Corp . Team Liquid leads with a score of 1:0. After Team Liquid vs. Karmine Corp , Fnatic vs. Team Heretics will take the stage to close the regular season.
The organizers also reported that they conducted a lot of tests and trials, and in their opinion, the equipment is ready for the competition.

The updated infrastructure is fully installed on the site. Meanwhile, we conducted comprehensive game tests. Testing various maps available in patch 10.07 (the patch used in week 5).Stress testing the game's stability by repeatedly testing the capabilities in parallel. Conducting three rounds of map testing with professional players using their own peripherals, simulating real match conditions.
