Leviatán VALORANT benches demon1 and rossy

Time: 2025-05-02 20:37 (UTC)

The organization Leviatán has benched Max "Demon1" Mazanov and Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo from its VALORANT roster. Both players remain under contract, but the club has allowed them to explore offers from other teams. The announcement was made on Leviatán’s official X (formerly Twitter) page.

Max "Demon1" Mazanov joined Leviatán during the offseason as the star duelist of the lineup. Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo was added to the team after the first tournament of 2025 — VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff, where Leviatán finished in 5th–6th place, replacing Nathan " nataNk " Bocqueho.

On May 2, the club announced that both players had been moved to the bench, but remain under contract and are free to negotiate with other organizations. The decision followed a disappointing run at VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1, where the team finished in 9th–10th place with just one win in five matches.

What happened? One day I got a call and they said: "We need to talk. We don't think you're good enough." I replied, "Okay," and left. That's literally all that happened. The conversation lasted 15 seconds.

Francisco "kiNgg" Aravena
Ian "tex" Botsch
Corbin "C0M" Lee

The roster is currently incomplete. Leviatán’s next tournament will be VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2, taking place in July. This event may be the team’s last chance to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2025, as it will award the final Americas points and slots for the world championship. There is also a possibility that Leviatán will participate in the qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2025, though the date and participant list are yet to be announced.
