The regional qualifiers of the VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 is coming to an end, with only two matches left to go. The clash between DRX and Paper Rex as part of the lower bracket semifinals has just ended, and after that we found out the last team from the region to go to the Masters in Toronto.

Easy win for Paper Rex
Both teams are considered to be strong and among the top five in their region, and given that it was an elimination match, the battle was supposed to be intense, but it wasn't. Paper Rex struggled to defeat their rivals on Lotus with a score of 13:11, and then easily defeated them on Icebox with a score of 13:8.

The best player of the match was captain Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto, who scored 36 kills and finished the match with K/D 36/27. You can see the detailed statistics of the match below.

As a result of the fight, Paper Rex advance to the lower bracket finals where they will meet Rex Regum Qeon , thus guaranteeing themselves a place at the upcoming Masters Toronto regardless of their place. DRX leave the tournament in 4th place with only 5 Pacific Points.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 takes place from March 22 to May 11 in seoul at the Sangam Colosseum. 12 partner teams from the Pacific region are competing for 3 invitations to the Masters Toronto, as well as the Pacific Points needed to qualify for the World Championships.
