Riot Games Launches Global Contest for VALORANT Champions Paris

Time: 2025-06-21 16:08 (UTC)

From August 15 to August 22, VALORANT fans worldwide can showcase their creativity in Riot Games' new Champions of Champions contest — celebrating the VALORANT Champions 2025 championship in Paris. The contest covers three categories: fan art, cosplay, and esports edits, with winners to be announced on October 5 and recognized by Riot.

What to Do?
Riot Games offers artists, cosplayers, and video editors from around the globe a chance to shine: create an original piece inspired by clutch moments, the atmosphere of VALORANT, and the championship spirit. Submissions are accepted in three categories:

Fan Art — drawings conveying the emotions of clutch moments and the VCT spirit, with a mandatory element — the Champions trophy
Cosplay — the portrayal of any agent or even a map, whether handmade or purchased, focusing on originality and recognizability
Esports Edit — a video edit up to 30 seconds long using official VCT materials and original effects

How Does the Contest Work?
After a week of submissions (August 15–22), the jury will select the top 25 entries in each category and region. The contest will then proceed through three voting stages:

Round 1 — Group Stage (September 12–22): players vote for their 5 favorite entries among the top 25 in their region
Round 2 — Playoffs (September 25–29): the top eight advance to the next stage, where voting occurs again
Round 3 — Finals (October 3–4): finalists compete for victory in their region
Round 4 — Final Winners Announcement (October 5): winners in each category will be announced.

Winners will be announced on October 5 during the grand finale of VALORANT Champions Paris. Their works will be showcased globally and displayed at Riot's headquarters.

Who Can Participate?
Champions of Champions is open to nearly everyone, except residents of the following regions: Crimea, Donetsk Oblast, Luhansk Oblast, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Quebec (Canada), and any other territories where such contests are void or restricted by law.

The work must be original and created without AI assistance. Video edits can only be made using Riot-approved playlists.
