Wolves Esports and Gen.G Advance to Next Round of Upper Bracket at Masters Toronto 2025

On the second day of the playoffs at VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, Rex Regum Qeon faced off against Wolves Esports and Fnatic played against Gen.G Esports. Today's matches determined who would continue in the lower bracket and who would advance to the next round of the upper bracket.

Rex Regum vs. Wolves Esports
In the first match of the day, RRQ and WOL met in the quarterfinals of the upper bracket playoffs. The series ended with a 0:2 score in favor of Wolves. The first map, Ascent, ended 11:13, and the second map, Icebox, concluded 8:13 in favor of WOL. RRQ will continue in the lower bracket of the playoffs.

The best player of the match was Tyler “juicy” Aeria, who achieved 266 ACS, which is 8% higher than his average over the past six months. 

Fnatic vs. Gen.G Esports
In the second match of the day, Fnatic played against Gen.G on Haven, Split, and Sunset. Gen.G secured a win on Haven with a score of 13:11. On Split, Fnatic managed a comeback from 3:9, winning in overtime with a score of 14:12 in favor of Fnatic . On Sunset, Gen.G confidently and calmly defeated their opponent, finishing the map with a score of 13:6. Fnatic moves to the lower bracket where they will face RRQ.

The MVP of the match was Kim “T3xture” Na-ra, who achieved xxx ACS, which is x% compared to his average over the past six months.
