ardiis officially departs from NAVI Valorant

Time: 2024-12-14 14:08 (UTC)

Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks, who was benched in NAVI's Valorant roster after the conclusion of the 2024 competitive season, has officially left the organization and is now a free agent.

Although ardiis joined NAVI at the start of the VCT 2024 season, replacing Mehmet "cNed" İpek and taking over his duelist role, he was already familiar to the roster. He had played with the same lineup under the FunPlus Phoenix banner in 2022, where they achieved a fourth-place finish at Champions 2022. As a result, ardiis was considered a familiar face for both fans and players. However, the roster change did not bring improvements—in fact, it worsened the team's performance. NAVI missed both the Masters and Champions 2024, finishing 3rd-4th at VCT 2024: EMEA Kickoff and 5th-6th in both VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 1 and Stage 2.

On December 14, after more than a month of inactivity, Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks officially parted ways with NAVI, as announced by the organization on its social media channels. This departure follows the unveiling of NAVI's new Valorant roster for the 2025 season.

Current NAVI Valorant Roster:
Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasov
Andrei "Shao" Kiprskii
Emirhan "hiro" Kat
GianFranco "koalanoob" Potestio
Uğur "Ruxic" Güç
Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer (coach)

The Future of ardiis
With the 2024-2025 transfer window nearing its end, most teams have finalized their rosters for the upcoming season. This means there is a significant chance that ardiis might not return to the professional stage at the start of 2025. The only remaining open slot in VCT EMEA is the fifth player position in Apeks . While the community has joked about this potential transfer, no confirmed information has been provided.
