Anna Donlon Reveals Replay Feature Date and Tejo Nerf in VALORANT

Time: 2025-04-30 20:19 (UTC)

On April 30, the head of the VALORANT department, Anna Donlon, addressed the community on X to clarify the most pressing questions following the anniversary video by Riot Games. According to Donlon, many were dissatisfied with the vague wording and lack of a clear plan—Riot is now beginning to provide clarity.

The main news: replays will be introduced in the game in September. This is one of the most anticipated features that players have been requesting for several years.

So first, REPLAYS ARE COMING IN SEPTEMBER! Woot! Get your last “replays when?” comments in while you can.

Additionally, in patch 10.09, agent Tejo will be nerfed. According to Donlon, his rockets have proven to be too powerful, often leaving opponents with no chance. The developers plan to reduce the effectiveness of his arsenal and bring him in line with other Initiators. A video detailing the changes is promised to be released on May 1.

Another important point mentioned by Anna Donlon is the overload of abilities. The head of the VALORANT department acknowledged that this is a serious issue, especially exacerbated by Tejo's current state. Riot is already working on resolving it and promises to gradually implement adjustments throughout the year. Major changes are planned after the VALORANT Champions 2025.

Earlier, on April 29, Riot Games released a video marking the 5th anniversary of VALORANT. In it, the developers shared upcoming changes, but the community was left unsatisfied, which prompted the clarification from the Head of the Department.
