Pontus "Zyppan" Eek has officially left the active Gentle Mates VALORANT roster following the team’s run at the EWC 2025 EMEA Qualifier. The player announced his departure on his social media account on X.

Zyppan joined Gentle Mates ahead of the VCT 2025 season, when the organization rebuilt its entire roster to compete in the EMEA region. Since then, he participated in two tournaments — VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff and VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 — as well as the Esports World Cup 2025 qualifier, which became his final event with the team.
