T1 has confirmed the starting five players for its VALORANT roster who will compete in VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2, removing Ko "Sylvan" Young-sub. The announcement was made by the club’s general manager.

After a successful run at VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff and Masters Bangkok 2025 — where the team secured a championship — T1 struggled during Pacific Stage 1 and the qualifiers for EWC 2025. Throughout this period, the team experimented with its lineup. Although the full roster still includes seven players, the starting five has now been confirmed, and it does not include sylvan, who helped the team win Masters Bangkok 2025.

I think many fans were confused after seeing today’s photo with Sylvan excluded. I’d like to provide clarification. Based on results from internal tests conducted in preparation for VCT PACIFIC STAGE 2, the active VCT roster for the remainder of the 2025 season has been finalized and will include six players: BuZz , Carpe , DH, iZu , Meteor , and stax . After the tests, T1 offered Sylvan several career options, including a transfer to another team. However, we are grateful to Sylvan for choosing to stay with T1 and complete the 2025 season alongside his teammates.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 will take place from July 15 to August 31. Ten partnered teams from the Pacific region will compete for two slots at Champions 2025 and valuable Pacific points. It’s the final regional tournament of the season before the World Championship.
