The group stage of VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 has just begun, and there are many more exciting matches ahead for viewers. Today, on the second day of play, two matches took place, the results of which we will tell you about below.

Paper Rex vs T1
The first match was a battle between the Masters champions. T1 won this year's Masters Bangkok 2025, while Paper Rex won the next Masters Toronto 2025. Thanks to the high level of both teams, the match was truly exciting. On the first map, Haven, Paper Rex initially dominated with a score of 10:2, but T1 eventually staged a comeback. The map went into overtime, where Paper Rex ultimately won with a score of 17:15. On the second map, Lotus, there was also one overtime round, which resulted in Paper Rex winning again with a score of 14:12.

Gen.G vs DRX
In the second match, DRX faced Gen.G, and unlike the first match, this one turned out to be quite one-sided. Gen.G easily won on Corrode with a score of 13:6, and then went on to win on Haven, 13:8.

As a result of the matches, Paper Rex and Gen.G earned their first victories, thanks to which they moved up in the group table. T1 and DRX , respectively, suffered defeats and fell to the penultimate 5th place in the group.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 runs from July 15 to August 31 in LAN format. Twelve partner teams from the Pacific region are competing for two direct invitations to Valorant Champions 2025, Pacific Points, and $250,000 in prize money. You can follow the tournament at the link.
