Rumors: Kess to replace Boostio on 100 Thieves VALORANT Roster

Time: 2025-07-19 08:04 (UTC)

Drew "Kess" Lee from QoR is rumored to replace Kelden "Boostio" Pupello in the active VALORANT roster of 100 Thieves . The information was shared by insider purest on his X social media account.

Kelden "Boostio" Pupello is expected to be benched ahead of 100 Thieves ' matches at VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2, with Drew "Kess" Lee set to join the team. Kess is currently playing for QoR in the Challengers 2025: North America ACE tournament. The decision may stem from the team’s disappointing 13th–16th place finish at the Esports World Cup 2025, as well as underwhelming results in regional competitions.

Individually, Boostio has been struggling — averaging just 0.52 kills per round and an ACS of 152 across his last 15 matches, some of the lowest numbers on the roster.

Kess, on the other hand, has posted solid numbers as an Initiator, with an average ACS of 209 and 0.74 kills per round over his last 15 matches. Detailed stats can be seen in the image below.

100 Thieves are scheduled to play their next match on July 21 against NRG in the group stage of VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 — a pivotal tournament in the season that offers two direct qualification spots for Champions 2025.
