Team Heretics and Fnatic secured victories over BBL Esports and Karmine Corp respectively in their opening matches of the group stage at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2.

Team Heretics vs BBL Esports
As expected, BBL Esports put up a solid fight against Team Heretics , but ultimately fell short, with Heretics taking the series 2:1 (Icebox 5:13, Haven 13:9, Sunset 13:11). The standout player was Dominykas "MiniBoo" Lukaševičius, who racked up 56 kills and posted an average ACS of 257 — a performance that was roughly 10% above his usual form. 

Fnatic vs Karmine Corp
Fnatic secured a hard-fought 2:1 victory over Karmine Corp (Bind 13:7, Lotus 10:13, Icebox 13:11). This marks Fnatic ’s first win in the group stage, while it’s the first loss for the French side, who still have four more matches ahead.

VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 is running from July 16 to September 1 in Germany , featuring 12 teams competing for a $250,000 prize pool and valuable qualification points for VALORANT Champions.
